What software would you reccomend for making 3D or accurate blueprint-type drawings to design airplanes and aerospace components? I’m no expert with design, so I need something easy to use with accurate design capability.

Autocad of course.
3D Studio Max, Autocad, Archicad
3D Studio Max all the way for any high end graphics. Autocad’s primary function is for architecture, but for any 3D designs that will be used for graphical use 3D Studio Max is the way to go.
I personally like Cinema4D (http://www.maxon.net/pages/products/c4d/cinema4d_e.html). Maya (http://www.alias.com/glb/eng/products-services/family_details.jsp;jsessionid=DGOESR4ZNS1B3QCLCWSSM44AJMK0IJVC?familyId=3900009) is another option.
