hey, im just gonna ask. im kind of blending a pink and purple image together and i want to use the technique you’re showing in this tutorial. so do i have to change the color of the brush? anyways, im gonna try it again just to see whether i’ve done something wrong.

With Elements you need to use the eraser tool instead of the mask.

You want to see through? Change the layer opacity temporarily, that’s what I do.
Do you know how to do this on Corel Paint shop pro X2?
If you have Elements you won’t have a mask icon. Its only in Photoshop.
