We start with a simple blurred color background and step-by-step create a perfect gel button. The beauty of this button is that it is entirely Layer Styles so it is an effect that can easily be transferred to other shapes or other buttons. The Letterpress effect is also 100% Layer Style which allows it to be applied to live text and you can even save it as a preset in Photoshop! My tone wasn’t mean btw, hard to sound in text, but you sound like sales dude sometimes lol! It’s so funny, it’s good, it’s your thing, it just detracts me from knowing You you know what I mean? I know your representative – nothing wrong with that either.
Your tuts are very good though.
Nice.. although I don’t have Ps atm …
Couldn’t you make the text more gel-like so it kind of blend into the button? So you just have some edges or something?
By the way, nice videos, all of them.
