@Freddie25 Tackar tackar! I’m sure you can do these things in Adobe Premiere to a certain extent, but After Effects will offer more possibilities. :)
@drpenmaster I usually use full res mpeg4 when I render it, keeps the file size down but without compromising the quality too much.
@TimurY Thanks! And I just sent it to people in my “friends”-list, I deleted you from that list now, so you don’t need to worry about another message.
This was a good, well produced video. But I won’t be watching any more of your videos, because I don’t like your mass message spamming.
@LoooZaaa That kind of camera helps a lot to the film look.
I Do things the same, except for the letter-box… When the footage is shot by someone else and you are in charge of the CC, you shouldn’t mass with their composition without their knowing. Those kind of things should be done while filming and not in Post-Production in my opinion.
Anyway, Great first Tutorial! Can’t wait to see the next one =]
@kudjo24 Nikon D5000 with 35mm lens. :)

wow i really liked this tutorial, any advice on rendering for best quality for youtube?
@RosserProductions Thanks man! Yep you’re right, it’s a DSLR, a Nikon D5000 with a 35mm lens.

Nice tutorial Chris keep it up
yeah, pretty nice tutorial, keep m going!
nice buddy..but regarless of colour correction and letterboxer,ther is somethin else which makes a video look like movie..that is FPS(FRAMES PER SECOND)
so u also need to convert ur frames to 24 fps..
regards..
Amey
Nice work Chris! Looking forward to seeing some more tutorials.
Helt okej video! Is it possible to do the same things directly in Adobe Premiere, or what’s the advantage of doing the after effects in.. After Effects?
mhh.
I think it’s too dark.
You screw up all the nice detail in the trees shadows.
ah and with the vignette maybe don’t just lay it over but duplicate the footage and lay it as “overlay” with the circular mask applyed. Than you can still add the black vignette layer with lower opacity.
nice tut
Brilliant Tutorial, especially for your first one! You were very confident, and gave some fantastic advice! I’ve subscribed and look forward to more videos from you! I would also really appreciate it if you checked out my channel too :) Also, what camera do you use? The shallow depth of field makes me guess you are using a DSLR…but I’m not certain?
Nice video
