I am a graphic designer and I can work at home. Can you suggest any great resource for graphic design? where i can promote my profolio, and accept the new projects. I know there is bid program online, but it seems wasting time to get one. All i want is >> promote my stuff, get as many projects as i can, then work on the projects. I do set up a home page 2 yrs ago but not success.
May be i need some plug-in or software to promote it, please comment. there should be many graphic design jobs request daily,
but i do not know how to contact it.

Along with sources like craigslist.com you may want to check out core77.com It is a great web community for designers and has a place to post your portfolio. If you work at home you must be diligent and go after the work. A website will not guarantee you work, only you can do that. Pound the pavement and look for opportunities. Setting up a network is the best suggestion I have. A lot of people (not all) looking for work to be done on those bidding sites are looking for the cheapest work and could care less about the quality. You will end up making a lot less and have even less to show for it in your portfolio.

Freelance sites are the best, especially if you want to improve your skills while also making money. Elance, Guru, RAC – trey these at first.

Craigslist.org is a good place to post if you dont have money to start. I get most of my freelance work from elance.com.
