Hello, i started learning website design a few years back and i really enjoy it. I am really good with html/css etc. and can pretty much create any site provided I have the design. But there’s the problem. I am really uncreative and unprofessional when it comes to coming up with a design. sometime i’ll think of a nice design in my head, but when i design it in photoshop or html, it just looks unprofessional and a bad site. For example, my website (portfolio site) is premiumfldesigns.com , I feel like when someone looks at it, they just get an unprofessional impression. Any suggestions?

Well I visited you site. It doesn’t seem like a web designer did it. I believe it needs some light bright colors, Show off your graphic skills. It would be silly to hire a graphic designer to help with your site so just do what you can.
Design is something that is really hard to teach and it’s something that’s usually just “born” with. Your best bet is to either work with a creative person to do the design and you do the coding or look at plenty of other nicely designed websites out on the web and learn.
Why do it yourself. I have a top of the line web designer and programmer on my staff and we build websites really cheap.
