All domain names cost you – the lowest price I have found is approximately 5.95 a year. Then you would need a site to host oyur website. This can cost but there are many free sites available.
Unfortunately you can’t get free .com domains.

There are no freebies per se. If you notice, websites offering free services of any kind often earn their money via advertising. Likewise, companies that offer “free” websites do so but you have to live with advertising on the side of your pages. Obviously, many people don’t mind this but it does look unprofessional.
You are actually looking for a few things:
(a) To register your domain name (MyCompany.com)
(b) A computer that will physically host your website and respond to the page requests from the public.
(c) Services in terms of other things that make a website useful, such as programming help, database access, email, etc.
What you need to get depends on the details of what you want to do. If you don’t know yourself, then the first thing you need are the services of a website developer. He can work with you and relieve you of the technical aspects while you concentrate on the business aspects.
If you are going ti alone, at minimum you need to understand the basics so that you can understand the advertising for the various packages and services out there.
