I made this in 20 or so minutes; and I was following a tutorial on swimchick.net; I made it on Corel Paint Shop Pro X; (Pretty old program)

It is precisely the kind of image that is used by cosmetics companies for “younger” products. Look at some Juicy Couture or the awful Britney ads for perfumes.
This does not mean it is good or bad – it would only be good or bad if it was appropriate (or not) for the product, theme, concept you are trying to promote.
If the intention was to promote, for example, mascara then yes it is a decent image – leaving aside the ethics of retouching which is a serious consideration for some.
Ithink u have a lot of work ahead of u. Cg isn’t just about photoshopong a pic, it’s about creating new and different art. Just keep working and I’ll eventally find a way to make truly amazing art. Ur program isn’t great…may i suggest adobe illustror photshop and indesign
