Posted on October 29th, 2010 by David Montgomery Jr.
(paper cut animator) – This is a stop-motion animation project that was made by an intern from the Grafisch lyceum in Rotterdam for Markzware Europe. There was countless hours of drawing the interfaces of Adobe InDesign, Google, FireFox web browsers, QuarkXPress, the Mac OS X, the Dock and of course the YouTube interface where you see a real video of Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) embedded within the artwork. I’m a May 2008 grad who still hasn’t found a job. Parents can’t help anymore. What should I do?

Posted on October 29th, 2010 by David Montgomery Jr.
I graduated in Graphic Design in May 2008. There are only a few ad agencies in my area and they’ve tightened up and aren’t hiring. I’ve looked at freelancing online, but a lot of jobs go to designers in India who are willing to work for $8 an hour. I do a TON of independent contractor work which helps pay the bills, but it’s temporary and sporadic work, not to mention, I’d really like to work in something I obtained a degree in. I’ve been lucky enough to have parents who care about me, and they have helped me with…

Posted on October 29th, 2010 by David Montgomery Jr.
