I’ve been in post secondary for a while. I have already have a diploma in Graphic Design, but I didn’t bother getting a career in it because I do not that much patience with computers. I now go to university for art history, so that I can teach it for Graphic Design students.
I feel as though school is really inhibiting things that I want to do. These things are moving out of my parents house, and focusing my attention on crating clothes and acessories, and really trying hard to make money off of it. I have a friend…

I’m finding it impossible to layout and position elements on a website using CSS that will behave the same in both IE8 and Firefox. Is there anyway for my HTML pages to detect what browser the site visitor is using and call different CSS files accordingly? What works in one doesn’t work in the other, and the more complex the design gets, the worse the disparity. It’s driving me nuts.

I started a parenting website back in 1998. I started it on yahoo clubs, they got rid of yahoo clubs and then I moved to ezboard.com. That got pricey so I moved it to its own domain and hosting. I have been struggling with it ever since.
I know just enough php, css, html, mysql etc. to get it up and running and maintain it, I think barely but maybe I underestimate what I know.. who knows.
It consists of a message board forum (vbulletin) with 500 forums inside, a chat with unlimited rooms and currently over 100 made rooms.…
