If I had to pick one, is it better to learn flash or javascript?

I just finished a year of web design classes in css and html. I’m not sure whether to invest my next semester in learning flash or javascript (I need to pick one, not both). I’ve heard a lot of complaints about flash not being web friendly, but I’ve also heard javascript is very limited on animation. What are the pros cons of each?

graphic design in home business ??

I am a graphic designer and I can work at home. Can you suggest any great resource for graphic design? where i can promote my profolio, and accept the new projects. I know there is bid program online, but it seems wasting time to get one. All i want is >> promote my stuff, get as many projects as i can, then work on the projects. I do set up a home page 2 yrs ago but not success. May be i need some plug-in or software to promote it, please comment. there should be many graphic design jobs…

I heard that a AA degree in Graphic Design is no good compared to a BA in that particular field? Is it true if I major in Graphic design with a AA degree I would probably be jobless considering that all Graphic Design companies want someone with a BA?

can anyone tell me an easy online FREE program where I can design my company logo?

I just started my own business. I would like to design my logo myself so I can incorporate in into my website, and other aspects of my business invoices etc. Can anyone tell me a quick, EASY online site that will let me design it, and use it. I know I sound cheap, but funds are low and I am looking for something very interactive. Too hard to use photoshop.
