I’m expecting my first child in December and I’m planning on working from home while I am on maternity leave. I’m wondering what would be the best kind of computer/notebook that is PC based to use Adobe Creative Suite 3 with. As for price I would like to stay under $600 if possible. Any suggestions?

I am very new to web design as I have no prior experience and know little HTML.
I just want to know what the best software is to purchase to design blogs. I have downloaded CS5 Design Premium with Dreamweaver and Photoshop, but I realize this is a little advanced for me and expensive!!!
Does anyone have suggestions of software or ways to build blogs and websites easily and inexpensive?
THANKS!

I want to go into either psychology or graphic design, but right now I’m undecided. I really want to go into the psychology field, and I’m looking at getting my bachelor’s of art in psychology. But if something doesn’t work out and I decide that I don’t want to go for the full eight years, can I get a job in the graphic arts field with that degree since it would apply to visual communication skills?
