I have Adobe Photoshop 2.0 which is so old, but I love it & this tutorial helped so much! The beginning was all I needed. Nice and simple. I just photoshoped me into a picture with my favorite actress and it looks like I met her and took a picture with her ! So amazing :)
The sped up bit makes it look so much easier. Can I ask, what mouse do you have? I haven’t used a mouse comfortable enough or precise enough that I can go around stuff easily. Even my Magic Mouse doesn’t feel that greatest.

I don’t really get how to size the brush either.
If any one is having trouble erasing the background, pay attention for when the dude says “black and white” and click where he clicks.
when i select the brush tool, it does nothing, but i i figured out how to use it, only problem is when i use it, it comes out red

I did it like the video and it worked the first time. But when i tried again later and started to brush away things, it didn’t disapear. Some of it did, but you could see the layer. what did i do wrong?

@zuluzack You need to select the layer mask, not the layer itself. Have you watched my layer mask tutorial? Do a search for “layer mask tutorvid”
I have the same problem. If I select the layer, nothing happens when I move the brush. If I select the other layer, it just paints black.
