there is no colleges teaches graphic design in my city Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and the courses are expensive. the things i liked about this course it is just 1110 $ , i need something to let me know where I’m going in Graphic Design , just to take my first step in understanding it, i can’t afford studying online in a college the semester is expensive
thank you for answering ,
i appraised it

Personally I wouldn’t do it. Are there any schools around the area that offer design courses? (Community College, Vocational school..etc)
Graphic Design is a mass produced occupation (new designers, fresh out of school every month)…
I’d rather learn in a classroom environment, in fully accredited school, and has social networking with ties around the area.
Two more things…
1) For almost all graphic design jobs, it will come down to whether or not you can get the job done. It doesn’t matter what school.
2) Networking is very important. Building and maintaining contacts in the design community is key.
I agree that your best approach should be via a traditional brick and mortar school. The classroom environment and student critiques are extremely important for honing your design skills. In graphic design, the artist as always trying to acheive an “elegant” solution to a particular design program. By getting various points of view, the artist learns what “works” and what doesn’t in any particular situation.
You’ll WANT the critiques from teachers AND fellow students, rather than from someone, online, who has a vested interest in keeping you enrolled and making tuition payments.
Plus, there is the added benefit of paying so much less for classes at a local community college.
