actually for me, logo design is the highest in my pricing list, cause usually it takes longer then any other layout to find the suitable logo for the customer… its never about the colors .. or the details ..( since i prefer to use minimum colors and details) its only about the customer if its a big company .. sport club … community service …etc , so if ur customer is a big company that is making lots of money go ahead and dont hesitate .. charge them thousands of $$$ … if ur design deserve :P

It does depend on alot of other factors, the size, number of colours, final output as in do they need it for print? for a website? both?
The more details involved, the more you can charge.

It varies. A good designer can charge anything from $50 to $300 for a good logo.
