That’s up to Adobe. They’ll probably test the water with a special version of Photoshop, but if they find it successful, they may release an entire CS Suite for the device.
Adobe would have to port it to iPhone OS. And then they’d have to redesign it to use all touch screen. I wonder how many people would use it on an iPad versus Mac or PC if they did? It seems like the market wouldn’t be big enough.
I’d love to have the new iPad, but I’m a Graphic Designer so I’d want the capability of designing on it too. I sold my laptop because I didn’t use it enough on the go (mainly because it wasn’t that easy to bring along with me everywhere I go), but the new iPad would I feel. What are the odds of the iPad having the the capability to design on on a scale of 1–10 do you think?
I don’t see why not. I mean, since there is a VERY competitive market of apps out there, there will probably an Adobe Creative Suite of some sort for the iPad. They came out with iWork, which is the Apple version of the Microsoft Office Suite, which I heard is superior as for as being on a Mac goes, even though I use the student edition of Office Suite and have no problem with it, but that’s besides the point. The point is, Steve Jobs, the father and owner of the Apple company, said that this was going to change the way we look at computers. And I’ll be betting that InDesign and all the other Adobe programs that they can put onto the iPad will exist sooner or later. If they did, it would boost their sales dramatically. A lot of people are putting down the iPad, but I say that it’ll be different than any other tablet computer since it’s demand for app market. I also hope they put on InDesign, Photoshop, and such other programs on there, though. I’m also into graphic designing and it’ll be super-awesome if I could edit Photos with the best program and work on my college newspaper layout. That would be one of the “ultimates” of the iPad, so it would be hard to say no to, in my opinion.

No, not for now at least.
