I don’t have the Internet at home so I’m trying to burn video tutorials for graphic design onto my disc here at work. Is that possible? Say for instance, there is a vector tutorial vid on Youtube.com, is it possible to transfer that ?

I was trying to do it for a long long time however could not find any application software for the same. But recently I found one software for free that can convert video formats and also download the videos from Youtube, you just have to copy the URL of the video and paste it to that software. (URL is the webpage address of that video)
Good luck

If you mean download the videos, then copy the link of the video and post it in here:
http://file2hd.com/
Then click on the box beside ‘I have read and agree to the Terms of Service’ then click beside ‘Movies’, then ‘Get FIies’. After that is done, right click on the video and save it.
If you put the stuff on the disc, all you have to do is put the disc in your computer at home. Then drag and drop the stuff off the disc into a folder on your computer. =)
I use FireFox and it has a plugin “Download Helper”, it starts spinning on sites it can download video, if you use FF you just click on the icon menu (left of the address bar, you will see it) then you just click on the name. Some sites will not let you, but I have done it on YouTube and other sites.
EDIT, or you can use MKB’s advice, I have used that as well.
