When I paste a design from Adobe Illustrator to Photoshop the colors are never the exact same hexadecimal. How can I keep the hexadecimal color value exactly the same between these two applactions? I am using Illustrator CS2 and Photoshop CS2.

I would try saving as a tiff, or raw (if the capability is there), and then opening it in the other program. You’re more likely to get what you should have gotten.
The only other reason why you might be having issues is if you happen to be using a different color pallet for each program.
