InDesign for comic panel layout part 3
This tutorial covers how to: – Exporting pages. – Place a picture into a frame – Place multiple pictures into frames – Direct Selection and Basic Selection – Undo – Adjusting frames & layout The tutorial should work for CS4 and probably CS5. Can you market a business/service from your apartment? (I.e graphic design, or hair styling services)?
I do not have a license for a service that I want to provide, and I would like to hand out business cards/flyers to people. Has anyone had this experience? How do you recommend this be done? Thanks. I dont’ know if this makes a difference, but it would be very small like braiding someone’s hair (they would call me and i can come to their house, or they can come to my apartment). Adobe Indesign from Windows to Mac problem!?
I have used InDesign CS4 on Windows XP and have recently switched to Mac, however the files on the Mac aren’t showing the same. All of the fonts have a pink background behind them that I can’t seem to get rid of, it’s almost like it’s being highlighted but it isn’t. Keep in mind I have used fonts on the WIndows machine that aren’t on the Mac but how do I fix this problem on the Mac?Full Story »

What should I look for when buying a computer used for graphic design?
The computer must be able to run Microsoft Office ’07. I will be using this for basic graphic design work, to edit and store short video clips, store archives of digital photos and to create multimedia presentations.
