I have a BA in journalism, which has not helped me at all in finding a permanent job. I’ve been out of college for a year, and working as a temp in anything that I can find. I have internships and some small jobs in the past, but nothing related to web design. I’ve taught myself in HTML, CSS, Java , etc. and have created websites. But I have absolutely no experience! So is it possible to get a permanent job in web design?

What do you guys think I should charge for each of those? Thanks for the help!

I’m looking for a website or program of some sort that can help me create fancy type of lines to put under a logo (you know, lines like __________ or ————-), and they need to look kind of between a toothpaste texture or a cake frosting type of texture. Or to make the search simple enough, lines that look bubble-like. Thanks.
