I would like to know about good Art colleges in Los Angeles area. I have done some research and the results were nothing but schools with rushed programs and put-together educations (AI, Devry etc.) I want a real education in Graphic Design. To learn the basics, and move on to higher education. My goal is not to make money, is to get a well rounded, effective education.
Any artists out there with the same interest in mind, and perhaps a suggestion?
P.S: I got accepted at the Art Center College of design. I did not attend because of…

I’m a new graphic artist. I’m trying to recreate labels with bar-codes to be printed on plastic poly bags. My two real questions are… how can I create “camera-ready” artwork (is this just referring to an Illustrator or InDesign file?) annnnnd… do I just leave a blank spot for the bar-codes or is there a way I can place them myself? Will I need a file image of the bar-codes?

I’ve been doing research and the school that had the program I wanted discontinued it after not much interest. (Kaplan) This particular school only has associates in my field of interest.
I’ve been looking at brick and mortar schools in Illinois, Chicago mainly (where I work full-time) and I am having no luck.
I am a non-traditional student and I was wondering are there other colleges/universities in the US that offer online degree programs that are fully accredited.
In Chicago, I’ve searched UIC, DePaul, Loyola, U of C, IIT, Columbia College, etc. and have not found one program…

I just started taking classes and have always had a passion for art and so on. As Ive been exploring the details of the job in the aspects of have you have 2-5 years experience in the field to get a good job at a firm. Also it taking 2-3 years to get the degree which would make me at least 31. I dunno you think employers would look at me as a joke ?

I need to design a logo for my photography biz… something i can place on pictures (not a watermark)… i have word and publisher etc..not sure if i can use any of these…. please do not recommend a logo program that is not free… if i can’t save it to my computer free don’t mention it..if it is going to have demo or water mark on it when i save it don’t list it pleezz..thanks!

i wanna get my hair bleached its currently drak brown, not naturally.. i need ideas cuz my job was for summer only.. NO I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING PG-13 or rated more..i need real anwsers not nothng stupid or a waste of my time. thank you. i am a graphic design student, i also do photography and i can cook too it this helps with any ideas.
