The site everybody told. For me is http://www.w3schools.com .
But for the layout you can inspire yourself with the software Artisteer.
Download it and if you want the crack too. It generates customized templates by you, on a click that you can use for your projects to be more beauty your web pages.
Another hint, use Dreamweaver to help you re-create the coding of the templates generated by Artisteer.
