I’m a new graphic artist. I’m trying to recreate labels with bar-codes to be printed on plastic poly bags. My two real questions are… how can I create “camera-ready” artwork (is this just referring to an Illustrator or InDesign file?) annnnnd… do I just leave a blank spot for the bar-codes or is there a way I can place them myself? Will I need a file image of the bar-codes?

I’m 16 years old and Im not to into school at all. I know I need to get good grades and stuff and I know I will need it to be happy, but it just doesnt trigger anything inside me to just try and try. I wish it did, but it doesnt!

I have a small graphic arts business and am thinking about getting a company car. It’s not for status but for functionality (right now my personal car is a 97 and isnt roomy or dependable enough for moving around equipment). I was thinking something along an scion xb as it could easily be car wrapped and I would have a mobile advertisment (instead shelling out MUCH more in adds in newspapers and magazines).

I currently have a very old PC. How old? Well, I am still using OS Windows 98SE. Now I need a new system. I waited for VIsta to come out, but now I hear they have software issues. There is no timetable for when or no idea who will release a software patch for what I need. Should I look around for a notebook pc with XP on it to get me by while waiting on the software patch. Or should I go with a MAC either a notebook or a desktop? Or should I just go with Vista and…
