This is a Quark XPress Tutorial detailing the following elements: Inserting text boxes and linking them together, Changing text size, colour and font style, applying text effects (eg drop shadows). Inserting pictures, Cropping pictures (in Photoshop to import into Quark), Scaling (resizing) pictures, manipulating images (applying effects). Adding banners and shapes.

(paper cut animator) – This is a stop-motion animation project that was made by an intern from the Grafisch lyceum in Rotterdam for Markzware Europe. There was countless hours of drawing the interfaces of Adobe InDesign, Google, FireFox web browsers, QuarkXPress, the Mac OS X, the Dock and of course the YouTube interface where you see a real video of Q2ID (Quark to InDesign) embedded within the artwork. Oh no! Someone released the Stickman from it’s virtual prison to convert the print layout into an .IND type of file with the Q2ID or QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign plugin from Markzware (Just out in version 4!). After finally being able to trap the Stickman in a zip file by using FlightCheck Professional and it’s collect job function. Someone unzips the Apple Macintosh archive this time!
