Google GPals Day for Software Developers was a training held in Ramallah on March 24, 2009 which focused on pushing the boundaries of web applications using Google developer technologies. Google engineers and web development leaders in the West Bank led one full day of in-depth sessions on the latest Google technologies and hands-on codelabs. It uses a number of techniques that are not found in any one place in the literature – data shorting, tile repeater, xml httpservices, inline mxml actionscripting, click on double functions, use of CDATA Tags, tooltip, glow and fade effects – all done in less than 100 lines of code (once you take out the blank lines).
