I am offered a graphic design position doing a specific type of product but they said that I wouldn’t be able to do freelance jobs on my own time. Graphic Design and Print jobs?

I design logos, business cards, flyers, etc. Is it an industry standard or expectation that I be able to print what I design? I haven’t had much problem having customers outsource the print job to a printer of their choice, or print them themselves, but I have two customers now that were surprised that I only provide the design aspect.

I have a HP Office Jet J6480 that is wireless and does two sided print jobs automatically. Are there any jobs I could or should print for a small fee?
