I’m sure many of you have seen those websites that allow you to copy and paste an HTML code, Java Script, etc to paste as code into your site.
When I try design viewable HTML code on my page, the code disappears into my page and becomes the image, link, etc that it is coded to be. I want to have source code under specific images on my website, so that people can highlight, copy and paste the code into their site so that my images can display on their pages, even if they don’t know how to use…

I also just bought a book from Adobe on InDesign but are there tutorials as good as www.good-tutorials.com?

I was on a web design forum and came across a post that said something about know one using tables anymore, and the latest sites are all xhtml (instead of html), and the layouts are designed using css. I had always thought css was just used for the colour, font, mouse over effect, etc…

So, at this point I am still a novice web developer. I’ve read a couple of books on HTML and CSS and that’s all so far. The books I’ve read I’ve been adamant that whenever possible use things like float and absolute positioning to layout your web page and NOT to lay everything out into a big table. However, going around the web and looking at page sources, most web pages do layout their pages with tables. Is this bad design? I’m trying to learn the correct way so I just want to clarify. Thanks!
