Do I want graphic design or something else for my major? Please help!?
I want to double major in marketing and graphic design. The thing is, I’m not sure graphic design is exactly what I want.
I can handle people critiquing me, very easily. I am not a fan of making logos but could do it if asked. I want to focus on things like photo manipulation, and creating something sort of like a digital painting. I don’t want to make random abstract designs with no shade and no tint. I don’t care much for pairing my work with words unless its the thing my work is supposed to be advertising.

I have taken some courses in html, where i learned css and javascript for building simple web pages. I want to learn more so I can self teach and start building web sites for people/companies. I don’t understand stuff like php or how or what to do for linking to databases. Can you tell me stuff I need to learn further from what I learned above. Where can I learn this stuff.
