I work with two Macs to layout a school newspaper. They both have the same styles, but on one of the computers, every style appears bold when applied to the page, even though none of the styles have ‘bold’ checked under the basic character format’s font style.

Have a look at this link. These drawings are by one of my favorite children’s book illustrators from the turn of the 20th century, W.W. Denslow. His claim to fame was illustrating the first publication of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,” by L. Frank Baum.
If he were alive today, and freelancing his illustrations, would the drawings earn him a lot of money?

I am working on a project for school using Powerpoint (2003). I have several different templates I need to add to different slides. Whenever I try to change the template to a slide it changes the whole presentation. How can I apply several different design templates to the same powerpoint presentation?

OK, so I run this website, and we’ve been doing a lot of re-designs of it to make it look better. What makes it annoying is that when we re-design, we have to go through and manually update each page to look like the others.
So, someone suggested that we switch over to CSS. So, I took how the site currently looks, imported it into notepad, and now I need a way that I can convert it into a CSS style sheet, can someone help me out?

Hi. I need to design a thumbnails webpage with 16 pictures (4 rows, 4 columns), and the thumbnails are in both formats (horizontal and vertical). I need to frame the thumbnails in a square space: if the thumbnail is 100×200, it must be centered in a 220×220 square, if it is 200×100, it must be centered in another 220×200 frame. Each line must have 4 220×220 frames side-by-side. So, is it possible to design it with CSS? I already know how to do it using tables, but I don’t want to. I need to use simple HTML and CSS. Thank…

I am a freelance Graphic Designer and myself and other Designers are getting together to build a Design Studio, but the downfall of being a Designer is that we don’t want your usual boring office. These type of offices (interior wise) are what we have in mind:

thanks in advance!

Product DescriptionLike other page layout applications, InDesign allows users to control the appearance of every element on a page. It helps format elements with style sheets, which collect formatting attributes for easy replication. But that’s where the similarities end. InDesign CS3 One-on-One: Style Sheets demonstrates why InDesign’s style sheets are far more powerful than anything found in any other page layout program. Pioneering electronic publisher and author Deke McClelland goes to the heart of InDesign’s style sheets, and discusses how they define and guide just about every other program feature. He covers how to format words, paragraphs, whole frames,…
