Hi all !
I design my own full website using html/css of course, but i noticed that most of the websites do use Table to define the layout of the html page.
I rarely use tables, only for nav or images..I use Div class or Id alot.
Am i doing right? Or not

I have always though that (and do) when you design a website, you use tables to create the layout. I use dreamweaver, and when i want to create a site i just you the insert table feature, and add the appropriate number of cells and columns.
I was on a web design forum and came across a post that said something about know one using tables anymore, and the latest sites are all xhtml (instead of html), and the layouts are designed using css. I had always thought css was just used for the colour, font, mouse over effect, etc…

We have 500 plus pages of formatted MS Word tables that we need to import into Adobe Indesign CS3 retaining our Word formatting (for a book project). Thus far all attempts to do this have failed. Is there a procedure for accomplishing this? Thanks for any possible help.
